The Journal of Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology focuses on molecular and cellular mechanisms in endocrinology by including: gene regulation, cell biology, signalling, mutations, transgenics, hormone-dependant cancers, nuclear receptors. Basic and pathophysiological studies at the molecule and cell level are considered, as well as human sample studies where this is the experimental model of choice.
The ultimate objective of the journal is to create a novel forum for the rapid communication of new findings from clinical, experimental and longitudinal studies to promote early diagnosis and cure. It thus provides impetus for new scientific research to formulate new theories and strategies to identify public health issues. It aims basically aims at policy makers in preparing effective public health policies and services.
The scope encompasses all subjects related to Cell, Cell cycle, Cell function, Thyroiditis, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Cellular Endocrinology, Neuroendocrinolgy, Molecular Endocrinology, Hormones and Cancer, Extracellular signals, Neurotransmitters, Cellular regulatory mechanisms, Hormonal control, Endocrine research, Exocrine research, Cell regulation, Epigenetic, Hormone-binding components, Autoimmune diseases, Stem cells, Receptors. Technique studies including CRISPR or gene editing are also encouraged.
Journal of Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology fulfils its aim by publishing full-length original research papers, rapid papers, reviews, invited Special Issues, and book reviews. All articles are peer reviewed and published under the guidance of our Editorial Board members.
