    Practical considerations on the restoration of sexual function in the hypogonadal man

    Insidious hypogonadism that is associated with aging has most of the same manifestations as andropause, but its development is subtle. A response to treatment is usually prompt in hypogonadal men experiencing sexual dysfunction. It is recommended that patients with hypogonadism and sexual dysfunction receive treatment for three months. In the absence of a response at that time, comorbidities should be sought out actively. The results of treatment are not spectacular.
