Emphasis is given to all aspects of biochemistry and biomolecules research. Submissions will be assessed on their scientific validity and merit. MANUSCRIPTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE

All submissions of the EM system will be redirected to Online Manuscript Submission System. Authors are requested to submit articles directly to https://www.pulsus.com/submissions/biomolecules-biochemistry.html of respective journal (or) you can submit your manuscript as an e-mail attachment at manuscripts@pulsus.com

Article Processing Charges (APC):

Average Article processing time (APT) is 45 days

Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process):

Journal of Biomolecules and Biochemistry is participating in the Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process) with an additional prepayment of $99 apart from the regular article processing fee. Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process is a special service for the article that enables it to get a faster response in the pre-review stage from the handling editor as well as a review from the reviewer. An author can get a faster response of pre-review maximum in 3 days since submission, and a review process by the reviewer maximum in 5 days, followed by revision/publication in 2 days. If the article gets notified for revision by the handling editor, then it will take another 5 days for external review by the previous reviewer or alternative reviewer.

Acceptance of manuscripts is driven entirely by handling editorial team considerations and independent peer-review, ensuring the highest standards are maintained no matter the route to regular peer-reviewed publication or a fast editorial review process. The handling editor and the article contributor are responsible for adhering to scientific standards. The article FEE-Review process of $99 will not be refunded even if the article is rejected or withdrawn for publication.

The corresponding author or institution/organization is responsible for making the manuscript FEE-Review Process payment. The additional FEE-Review Process payment covers the fast review processing and quick editorial decisions, and regular article publication covers the preparation in various formats for online publication, securing full-text inclusion in a number of permanent archives like HTML, XML, and PDF, and feeding to different indexing agencies.

MANUSCRIPTS

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Arrange the manuscript as follows: Title page, structured Abstract and Key words, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, Sources of Funding, Disclosures, References, Figure legends, Tables and Figures. Do not import figures into the text file. Number the pages consecutively, beginning with the title page as 1. The last name of the first author should be typed at the top of each page. To ensure that the final, published version matches the electronic file, make sure that you use only Times New Roman or Arial, fonts, double spaced. The use of nonstandard fonts may lead to missing symbols. Text files must be saved as doc.files. All manuscripts must be accompanied by a covering letter detailing what is being submitted and indicating the author to whom we should address correspondence and page proofs. Author must sign a publishing agreement supplied by Pulsus Group. upon acceptance for publication.
The editors encourage authors to provide the names (including e-mail address) of at least five potential reviewers who have not been collaborators or coauthors within the past three years and have not provided advice or critique of the submitted manuscript. Authors may list up to a maximum of three reviewers they wish to exclude.
TITLE PAGE: The title, authors’ names (including full first or middle names and credentials [MD, PhD, MSc, etc]) and a short running title of 45 characters should appear on the title page. Include the name of the institution from which the work originated plus the full name, mailing address with postal code, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address of the author to whom communication, proofs and requests for reprints should be sent.
ABSTRACT AND KEY WORDS: On a separate page, provide a structured abstract of no more than 250 words. It should be subdivided into four subsections headed: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Abstract for case reports need not to be structured but are limited to 150 words. Abbreviate only standard units of measurement. At the end of the abstract, include a list of three to six key words or phrases for indexing purposes.
TEXT: Text should be divided into Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion. Appropriate subheadings should be provided in the Methods, Results and Discussion sections. Abbreviations should follow the form recommended in ‘Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals’ prepared by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and published in Ann Intern Med 1997;126:36-47 and Can Med Assoc J 1997;156:270-7.

The style and punctuation of references is as follows:
