Journal of Environmental Geology is a multidisciplinary, peer reviewed publication that offers an open access platform for discussion to improve the environment as habitat for life on the earth and remediate all aspects of interactions between the human and the earth ecosystems.
The journal includes studies on various aspects in this field including, water and soil contamination caused by waste disposal and management practices, industrial activities, transportation, geological processes that affect bio systems, recovery of material from the earth, remediation of man-made or geological hazards, mining and abstraction activities, management of land use, environmental data and information in data banks and information systems, broadcasting of knowledge on techniques, methods approaches that aims at improvement and remediation of the environment as habitat for life on earth.
The journal aims to disseminate knowledge on techniques, methods, approaches and experiences in improving the ecosystem. To this effect, it invites the geo scientists to contribute their knowledge and experience on major disciplines like hydrogeology hydrochemistry geochemistry, geophysics, engineering geology, soil science, and geomicrobiology. Studies on Geosciences, Environmental sciences, Geology, water and soil contamination, geological hazards, environmental impacts, land use management, industrial minerals, waste management, and earth Sciences are equally encouraged.
Journal of Environmental Geology publishes original research articles, review papers, case reports, editorials and short communications related to this field. Manuscripts are peer reviewed and published under the guidance of our Editorial Board members.
