Infection is a term used when a microorganism invades a human body or other animal and induces a shift in the normal animal and human condition. The microorganism may be bacteria , viruses, and even parasites that do not usually exist within the body. An infection may also occur without a symptom and may be subclinical, but most infections in nature display symptoms and appear clinical. The infection can remain localized, or even spread through the blood and other body fluids throughout the body. There are few microorganisms in our body that are naturally present such microorganisms are not considered an infection. There are specific therapies for various infections depending on the extent of infection in the body and the nature of the infection. Majorly antibiotics and antiviral drugs are used to treat the infection.
