Mosquito is a type of insect responsible for the various diseases that infect and kill humans. The mosquito has a life cycle for growth. The growth of the mosquito is classified into different stages. There are four distinct stages in the growth of the mosquito cycle. In that growth cycle, Mosquito larvae fall on the second stage in the life cycle of the mosquito. Mosquito larvae usually are grown in the water surface. Mosquito larvae are considered as a water-dependent organism. The mosquito larvae are found mostly in the standing pool of the water. Mosquito larvae live in water by feeding several components present in it. These larvae feed on organic waste and the microorganism present in the water. The mosquito larvae are considered as one of the best food sources for the aquarium fishes. Mosquito is responsible for various transmitted diseases such as malaria, dengue, etc. The precautions should be taken properly when the mosquito larvae are cultured.
