Alexianer St. Hedwig Krankenhaus, Berlin

Keynote: Clin Nephrol Res

Abstract :

A growing population leads to a growing incidence of LUTS and rising urological consultations. The following presentation is about our concept for the individual patient pathway concerning LUTS: our BPH toolbox. Following the initial conservative and medical treatment options , nowadays we have a plethora of minimal invasive techniques to treat BPH. This needs careful reflections about the different options and which to offer your patient. We discuss our approach to the individual patient his expectations to therapy and the final decision making with respect to the BPH guidelines.
