Arthritis Impact Factor

Arthritis is the bruise and tenderness of one or more of our joints. The main syndrome of arthritis are joint pain and stiffness, which gradually deteriorate with age. The most familiar category of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis origin from cartilage (the hard, slippery tissue that canvas the ends of bones where they structure a joint) to break down. Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease in which the immune system outbreaks the joints, beginning with the covering of joints.

Uric acid crystals, is structured when there's too much uric acid in our blood, can root gout. Infections or underlying disease, such as psoriasis or lupus, can lead to other types of arthritis. Treatments differ based on the type of arthritis. The main scheme of arthritis treatments is to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

Pain, which can vary in severity, is a common symptom in virtually all types of arthritis. Other symptoms include swelling, joint stiffness and aching around the joint(s). Arthritic disorders like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis can affect other organs in the body, leading to a variety of symptoms. Diagnosis is made by clinical examination from an appropriate health professional, and may be supported by other tests such as radiology and blood tests, depending on the type of suspected arthritis.
