Milk

Milk is a white liquid food that is rich in nutrients produced in mammalian milk glands. This is the main food source for babies (including breastfeeding people) before they can digest other foods. Early breast milk contains colostrum, which carries maternal antibodies to her children and can reduce the risk of many diseases. It contains many other nutrients, including protein and lactose. Inter-species milk consumption is not uncommon, especially in humans, many of whom consume milk from other mammals. As an agricultural product, milk, also called milk, is obtained from livestock during or immediately after pregnancy. Dairy farms produce around 730 million tons of milk in 2011 from 260 million dairy cows. India is the world's largest milk producer and exporter of skimmed milk powder, but still exports a few other dairy products. The constant increase in domestic demand for dairy products and large differences in demand could cause India to become a net importer of dairy products in the future.
